Advanced Excel: From a Spreadsheet to an Analysis You Can Rely On

Almost everyone works with Excel, but most people use a small part of it. That costs hours every week which disappear into manual work on spreadsheets, and it produces analyses that nobody quite wants to rely on.
In this workshop your people work on their own files. We rebuild existing spreadsheets, replace repetitive handwork with formulas and queries, and set up analyses that refresh with a single click.
The course assumes solid basics. Anyone who does not yet write formulas is better served by an introductory course.

Course content
- Building spreadsheets properly: data ranges, names and a clean structure
- Reliable lookups: XLOOKUP, INDEX and MATCH instead of VLOOKUP
- Conditions and calculations: IFS, SUMIFS, AGGREGATE
- Dynamic array formulas: FILTER, SORT, UNIQUE
- PivotTables, slicers and timelines for fast analysis
- Power Query: reading data from several files, cleaning it and refreshing it
- Charts that also work in a report and in a presentation
- Finding errors: formula auditing, data validation and workbook protection
- Preparing workbooks for work across a team
