Klaus Thaler is currently CEO of K-Tipp Rechtsschutz, the legal protection insurer founded in 2019 by K-Tipp Verlag. The publisher brings out several Swiss consumer magazines with a combined readership of more than two million. Klaus has extensive experience in the strategic and operational management of start-ups: during his career he also built up ELVIA e-invest, the first FinTech spin-off of Allianz Suisse, and led it as CEO. Before that he held various positions at companies in the insurance industry. Klaus Thaler holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and a master’s degree in banking and finance from the University of Zurich.
